The world-renowned biennial NEUE STIMMEN competition—one of the top global platforms for classical and opera vocalists—has launched its 2026 call. Organized by a prestigious European cultural foundation, it catapults young talents onto international stages, forging direct links with opera directors and conductors.
Process: Video pre-selection, live auditions in various cities, and grand final concert with winners.
Entry Conditions:
- Strictly for classical/opera singers (no pop/traditional).
- Open to all nationalities (Iranian singers eligible), within young/professional age range.
- Academic training or professional experience required.
- Submit live video of at least two standard opera arias (original language, no unauthorized editing, high audio/video quality) + artistic resume, bio, education, and performance history.
- Judging: Vocal quality, technique, musicality, artistry, stage presence, professionalism.
Must be available for in-person stages if selected.
Fees: Initial video submission free; travel/accommodation on contestant (sponsorships possible).
