Hasselblad Masters, running since 2001, ranks among the world’s top international photography contests, spotlighting contemporary masters, emerging talents, and standout projects. Winners gain exposure through Hasselblad’s global network, the official Masters book, and brand initiatives—serving as a career launchpad regardless of camera brand. The free, open contest blends expert judging with public voting to balance professional insight and community input.
Key Rules and Eligibility
Open to all photographers worldwide with no nationality or residency limits—Iranian artists welcome. Submit up to three photos per category; works must be original, unpublished award-winners elsewhere, shot on any camera (no mobiles, tablets, or drones), and digitally editable without misleading alterations. No watermarks or identifiers; digital submissions only. Project//21 category for those 21 or younger at deadline. Judging focuses on creativity, narrative power, composition, technical excellence, and series cohesion, followed by public voting for finals.

One Hasselblad Master crowned per category receives:
- Hasselblad X2D II 100C camera
- Two XCD pro lenses of choice
- €5,000 production grant
